The JST GX Connector Family is a 1.25mm pitch IDC Wire to Board connector, which incorporates JST's distinctive IDC Twin U-Slot contact design.

Using a wire size of AWG #26 the GXW connector has a current rating of 1.5A

Surface mount type with unique header design that avoids having to use suction tape in automatic pick & place assembly.

Low insertion force contacts that allow ease of operation during the mating process.

Unique internal friction lock design that produces enhanced audible click sound upon mating to prevent incomplete insertion.

Keying feature to prevent mis-mating.
